Macbeth
continues January 26, 27, 28 at 8:00pm

One of William Shakespeare's greatest dramas has it all: ambition, fate, deception and treachery. Three witches (Donna Lee Davis, Amy Ruble, and Tanner Blackton) confront the great Scottish general Macbeth (Tim Etheridge) on his victorious return from war, and predict that he will one day become king. With reckless ambition, and the help of Lady Macbeth (Lori Etheridge), he decides to murder King Duncan (John Kenemer) and lay evidence to blame his guards. The crown passes to Macbeth...but more murders ensue, and Lady Macbeth's conscience now begins to torture her. Will Macbeth remain King of Scotland?
Cast members include Brad Cline, Lea Hicks, Chris Blessing, Christopher Smith, Ted Long, and Sherrie Edwards.

Celebrates 20th Season

Brad Cline, Mark Orr, and Patton Locke in 'Once Upon a Mattress'

ACT is proud to announce the 2011-2012 Season, our 20th year! There is quality, live entertainment scheduled for every month of the year, including the comedy You Can't Take it With You and William Shakespeare's classic Macbeth. Start your holiday season with us in November with The Playhouse Christmas Concert, and then enjoy the antics of Thurston and Arles in A Tuna Christmas." Musical theatre fans will be thrilled with the spring production of The Fantasticks, as well as the summer ACT premier of Fiddler on the Roof. ACT2, the Children's Wing of ACT, has two mainstage productions scheduled, including the popular Stuart Little, and the musical fantasy Night at the Wax Museum.

ACT's popular Studio Cabaret Series returns this year, with a collection of shows produced in the more intimate setting of the ACT Studio Theatre (next door to the Playhouse). The Studio will also feature the holiday comedy A Tuna Christmas in December.
