The Children’s Wing brings historical figures to life with laughter and music when Artistic Civic Theatre presents Night at the Wax Museum June 19-23 at the ACT Playhouse. School’s out for summer, but not for six unlucky students who don’t know much about history – they have to re-take the class in summer school. When the teacher arranges for them to set up a new wax museum as a class project, their boredom turns into a comic romp with Cleopatra, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Blackbeard, Calamity Jane, Henry VIII, Poncho Villa, Lizzie Borden, Anne Boleyn, and more! Cast members include Kate Phinney, Ben Southerland, Griffin Rhudy, Thomas Gregg, Austin Rogers, Skylar Fromm, Kiersten Cohran, Jessica Jaconetti, Anna Grace Rogers, Leightta Sherrill, Zaelyn Bowman, Lily Rehberg, Lily Claire Golden, Kobi Wright, Bryce Southerland, Kristen Halman, Will Harvey, Cassia Mugge, Anna Blake, Daniel Satterfield, Nayely Velazquez, Amber Fischer, Ariana Avila, Austin Fischer, Andrew Rogers, Andrew Clayton, Kirill Sniff, Meg Phinney, Sydney Holloway, Cole Cooper, Ilya Sniff, Kai Wilkinson, Karle Wright, Audrey Webb, Sarah Jaconetti, Bethany Southerland, and Shelby Harvey. Night at the Wax Museum is directed by Heather Holloway with musical direction by Brad Cline. Performances are June 19-22 at 7:00pm, and an early matinee June 23 at 11:00am.
